Self storage insurance is highly recommended, but optional. We offer coverage thru Safestor upon move-in or you can contact you insurance agent for coverage.

The facility is gated and you are on security camera at all times on the property. We are located in a great area and there is an office manager available by phone 24/7 outside of regular office hours.

The minimum rental is one month. We rent on a month to month basis, and will prorate you in for the first month. There is no move-out notice required however we do not pro-rate upon moveout. The full months rent is due on the first of each month.

When you're finished with the space, all we ask is that it's completely empty and you return both keys so you won't be charged further rent. There is a drop slot in the front of the office for payments / key return. Please place labeled keys in the drop slot and call (815) 633-2333 to notify the manager that you have vacated. We do not pro-rate upon moveout. A full months rent is due on the first of the month.

We offer standard drive-up dry storage that is equivalent to storing your items in an outdoor garage. We also offer climate control units that are more like storing your items in a spare room in your house. Our climate controlled units are located in a separate building that has central air and heat and are kept between 50-79 degrees Fahrenheit. Climate control protects against dust mites, mildew, rust, paper rot and degradation of wood items.

Our Auto Pay option is the easiest way. No more check writing. No more postage. No late fees. Payments are on time, every time. Call the office to set up automatic credit or debit payments.

There are two reasons: you did not return your keys when you moved out, or your space is still occupied with some of your belongings. If you believe there is an error in your billing, please contact us by phone at (815) 633-2333.

Any items left in your space are your responsibility. We will continue to charge you rent until your space is empty and the keys are returned.

There will be no refund of rent whether the leased space has been occupied or not. Occupant understands and agrees that under no circumstances will Occupant be entitled to a refund of the first month’s rent paid upon execution of the Rental Agreement, and, thereafter, if this Rental Agreement terminates other than on the first day of the month. Rent is payable without deduction, demand or billing statement. Rent is payable only in United States dollars. There is no refund on merchandise.

What Information Do You Gather About Me?

We collect from you only the personal information you voluntarily provide in order to deliver the best possible service. If you choose to process an online payment, or reservation we ask you to provide us with information necessary to process your order which may include, but not be limited to, name, physical address, telephone number, email address, company name, title, credit card number, expiration date, and storage unit number. We collect your email address so that we can send you confirmation of your transaction and account status. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. The credit card information that is collected is used strictly for billing purposes.

Sharing Your Personal Information

Midwest Self Storage does not sell information to unrelated third parties. Midwest Self Storage does send your contact and order information to the facility that you selected for purposes of satisfying your payment or reservation.

Midwest Self Storage and Session Cookies

www.MidwestSelfStorage.com uses session cookies to enable making transactions on our site. A session cookie is a small file placed on your computer which acts as a unique identifier to keep track of the information you have entered. Without the session cookie, our site cannot track the information you are entering and you will be unable to complete your transaction. A session cookie does not remain on your machine after you close your web browser window. Our session cookie contains none of your personal information, and cannot be used to track you around the web. It can only be used by our web site to identify the information you have entered during the transaction process which is required to complete the transaction.

How we protect your credit card and other personal information?

When you input your credit card number and other personal information, we use an encrypted form to scramble the information before it’s sent so that even if anyone intercepts the information, it is highly unlikely that they will be able to read or use it. In addition, we take appropriate security measures to safeguard your personal information.
